Mavi

Mavi is not just an instructor; she's a beacon of inspiration and guidance.

As a trained support worker specializing in the Orton-Gillingham approach, Mavi brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to ARI Learning.

This method, renowned for its effectiveness, is specifically designed to aid students aged 7-18 in reading and spelling, making learning accessible and enjoyable for those with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences.

Mavi's classes are a journey through multisensory learning experiences. She utilizes innovative tools like Sound Drill Cards, Tactile Grids, Phonological Awareness Cards, and engaging Games.

These tools aren't just for the classroom; they're part of a custom-made printable reference book tailored to each learner’s needs, ensuring continuous practice and progress.

Please note that for optimal learning experience, we use Whiteboard technology; unfortunately, Chromebooks are not compatible.

For our older learners, Mavi offers a customized approach, adapting her methods to suit their unique requirements. She infuses fun into learning with creative techniques like meme-based learning and Growth Mindset Tactile Word projects, ensuring every session is as enjoyable as it is educational.

Mavi's commitment to her students goes beyond the classroom.  As an ND (Neurodivergent) teacher, her enthusiasm for this educational approach is both personal and profound.

As our Youth Coordinator, Mavi plays a pivotal role at ARI Learning. Her fresh perspectives, and innate ability to mentor younger students make her an invaluable asset to our community.

Mavi embodies our belief that young educators can profoundly impact younger students, serving as relatable role models and fostering a nurturing learning environment.
