Making Friends
Making Friends is a succesfull series of online live social clubs hosted by ARI Learning on Outschool.
Having moments of recess during online academic classes not only provides a much-needed break but also sparks a more personal bond with the digital platform learners are using. These non-academic interactions help in making the online learning experience holistic and more akin to the traditional classroom environment.
Our Making Friends Series
Making Friends online for today's young generations is as vital as making friends on the playground. While many homeschooled learners form strong bonds in their real-life communities, they often miss opportunities to connect with peers who share their unique interests or face similar challenges. Recognizing this gap, ARI Learning is elated to present our Making Friends series on Outschool—a collection of live, interactive classes purposefully crafted to bridge distances and cultivate heartfelt relationships between learners worldwide.

For our ESL (English as a Second Language) learners, there's an added advantage. While fluency in English is not a prerequisite to participate, engaging in these conversations with new friends and patient teachers can immensely accelerate language learning. Speaking English in a real-life context, surrounded by supportive peers, is one of the most effective ways for young people to master a new language.
Each Making Friends class is thoughtfully curated for different age groups, time zones, and even specific demographics or interests. Whether it's an ongoing session, a camp, or a one-time meet, every class aims to provide an avenue for learners to share, connect, and grow together. From the Making Friends Social Group for Ages 5-7 to unique themed classes like the Rural, Farm, and Remote Learners Edition or the Highly Focused Interest Sharing for Teens, there's a space for everyone to belong.

Making Friends serves as an excellent avenue to delve deeper into connections made in other classrooms. Have a potential best friend in your weekly Math class? Invite them over to a Making Friends session and get to know each other better! It's a safe and guided environment where friendships can be nurtured and further solidified.

All our classes advocate inclusivity, understanding, and respect. With all classes specifically tailored to be inclusive for neurodiverse learners too, ARI Learning ensures every child finds a comforting, patient, and fun space to flourish socially. Our expert educators prioritize creating a secure environment where learners can freely express themselves, learn about diverse cultures, and gain vital social skills for the online era.

So, whether it's about making global friendships, exploring different cultures, or just having a delightful time, the Making Friends series by ARI Learning on Outschool has something invaluable to offer.
